02

Deduct allowable expenses

COMMON QUESTIONS

What to know before relying on the estimate.

Should I enter turnover or profit?+

Enter turnover in the income field and allowable expenses separately. The calculator derives an estimated taxable profit.

Does this include payments on account?+

The core tax estimate should be separate. A production result may show payments on account as an additional cash-flow figure, with the assumptions explained.

Is this calculation tax advice?+

No. It is an indicative estimate based on the information entered and the rules configured for the selected tax year. Your final position can change because of other income, reliefs, benefits, residence status and personal circumstances.
