YOUR ANNUAL COMPLIANCE

One company. Two essential filings.

Checking both dates together makes it easier to plan ahead - and spot the right support before a deadline becomes urgent.

02

Confirmation statement

Check when your company information must next be confirmed and file it online with professional support.

03

Free reminders

Leave your email after checking. We will remind you 90, 30 and 7 days before both filings are due.

IF ACCOUNTS ARE LATE

Penalties rise quickly. Repeated lateness costs more.

Companies House applies an automatic civil penalty when company accounts arrive late. Penalties can double if accounts are late in two successive financial years.

PLAIN-ENGLISH GUIDE

Company deadlines, explained

Useful context after you have checked your dates.

Why are there two deadlines?

Annual accounts report the company's financial position. A confirmation statement verifies that key company information held by Companies House is accurate. They are separate filings with separate due dates.

Can an accounts deadline be extended?+

You may apply before the deadline where an event outside your control prevents filing. An extension is not automatic.

What happens if I do not file?+

Late accounts can lead to automatic penalties. Failure to file required information can also lead to enforcement and - in serious cases - the company being struck off.

Are reminder emails marketing?+

No. Filing reminders are separate from marketing. You can choose independently whether to receive other tax and business updates.
